My Current Wishlist

    1. Hair Extensions - I've been growing out my hair for years and it still hasn't gotten to the length I want it which is around the end of my ribs.
    2. For my 19th Birthday to come sooner! - It feels like ALL of my friends are 19 now and are all going out together downtown.. I WANT TO JOIN
    3. New Trues - I feel like True Religion Jeans are definitely a staple in any avid jean owner's collection (I consider myself to be a jeans collector). For some reason I never bought a pair when they were really popular for a while, however now I'm planning on snagging a pair :)
    4. Smashbox Foundation - Since using my Vichy face&body tanning lotion, I have become a little darker and I'm also looking for a new foundation to try out. I heard smashbox has great liquid foundations so I may pick that up during my next Sephora splurge.
    5. A Spray Tan - I may be a little darker but not AS dark as I want to be.. I think a spray tan is in order.
    6. The new Ipad2 - because who doesn't want one and they're SO cool !
    7. Spring/Summer Clothing - I'm pretty much stocked up on winter clothing, however I am running dangerously low on outfits for the spring/summer season!! A trip to forever21 is gravely needed
    8. MAC Lipsticks - Because I always want more and you can never have enough
    9. A new Brown Leather Handbag - I love the look of distressed brown leather handbags and I think they would complete any outfit for the spring or summer.
    10. To reach 1000+ Subscribers on YouTube - I have 11 videos up and 20 subscribers after 3 weeks. I'd really like to get more subs so I can expand my channel :D

That's it for my wishlist!
Love you guys & Watch for my next post <3

February Favourites 2011

This first product is the Chi Volume Booster. I bought it at Winners for around $9.00CAD. I believe it is regularly valued at around $11-12.00CAD (correct me if I'm wrong) in drugstores/hair salons. This volumizing spray is amazing and I only have good things to say about it! By pumping 3-4 sprays on my roots before I blow dry my hair, the result is soft, light, volumized hair. There is absolutely no sticky or hard residue left over once I'm done blow drying, this spray only leaves my hair feeling natural and lifted. This product is great for anyone looking for a medium between natural hair and hair that has been back-combed. I am someone who back-combs their hair. Even though I don't back-comb it a lot when I am doing my hair routine, it is something I am wanting to cut down on because I am very aware that it is horrible for my hair's health. I think this product is something that I am going to start using instead of back-combing.  I am 100% satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a noticeable difference in their hair!

This next product I DIE for ! It is the Vichy Face&Body Tanning Lotion which I bought for $26.00CAD at Shoppers Drugmart. I know it is a little on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for because it is a truly awesome tanning lotion that delivers a great brown tan for both the body and face. This lotion begins showing results after the first hour of application without leaving streaks or splotches. Apply it as you would a regular cream but make sure you thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water or your palms WILL turn brown - and that's not too attractive ;). I have been using this cream for just less than a week and am extremely happy with the results. Check out my YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/madbeauty11 and watch for my tanning routine which I will be filming and uploading very soon!

I have been using this bareMinerals Prime Time Foundation Primer for about a month and am very happy with it. I purchased it from Sephora for $33.00CAD which you may think is a lot for only a 30ml bottle but a little goes a very long way with this primer. I don't think I will have to buy another one for at least another 3+ months which is a pretty good bang for my buck :) . A pea sized amount of this product leaves my skin feeling super smooth and allows me to apply my makeup to a good base. Compared to other primers I have used which had required a lot of product to be applied to my face due to bad consistency which then lead to splotchy makeup coverage, I am VERY VERY happy with this product and would recommend it to someone with combination to dry skin as it is very hydrating. I don't think I would tell someone with oily skin to go out and buy this primer because it may make their skin more oily.

This MAC blush is in the shade Mighty Aphrodite and is from the Wonder Woman collection if you may have already noticed :) . I can't remember how much it was but if you check the MAC site it'll tell you. This is a true pink blush and is very pigmented. I am currently only using the light pink shade because I feel it compliments my skin more during this season. I think I will save the darker pink for the late spring or summer because it is a little too vibrant for the winter. As any other MAC blush, this one is of great quality and was a great purchase!

I am LOVING this Smashbox lip gloss in the shade Tease right now. I got it as a gift so I'm not sure how much it was but check the Sephora website and it will tell you. This beautiful gloss is SO pigmented and has such great staying power that I would almost call it a lip tint. When swatched it appears hot pink but when I apply it to my lips it turns out as a gorgeous deep red. I have worn this almost every day this month and am totally in love with it!

MY NEW FAVOURITE CONCEALER is now the Kat Von D concealer in the shade Sand (valued at around $35.00CAD). This product does an amazing job covering dark under eye circles, blemishes and even my hard-to-cover dot-sized red birthmark that is on the side of my nose. With this product, a little goes a long way so not only do I think this concealer will last me a long time but I think I will be repurchasing it when it does.

I know this is Too Faced Naked Eye Palette is not the newest product out there but I have been consistently using it almost everyday for nearly 2 months. This palette was about $45.00CAD but was definitely worth it as you get NINE shadows! As you can see on the cover of this box, these combinations of shadows would best suit blue eyes. However, having brown eyes myself, I find these shadows work perfectly well for me and compliment my eyes very well. Having said that, don't be discouraged to try the other shadows in this collection that don't have your eye colour on the lid. Experiment !

Love you guys!
